HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS GUITAR STAND OVER ANY OTHER STAND..PERIOD! I've played over 35 years and play and own electric and acoustic guitars and this is THE BEST stand I have ever found. They were so sweet when I found one here in Austin, TX, I sold my other guitar stands and ordered both of these, then later on when I got a new PRS Artist, I ordered another one for it. Obviously I trust this stand! I really think I got the last one in town, I've looked everywhere and even checked out every search on the web to find them. I can't understand why more music stores don't carry these models all of the time. It's kept my two Guild Bluesbirds, my Takamine and my PRS completely safe and mark free. It's totally AND completely adjustable for you to set your own balance and safety factor and folds up neatly when the axes are in their cases, plus they break down and pack up easily and quickly when on the move. You can't buy these anywhere else that I could find or have tried, but maybe Janet Davis Music, but all she sells is the acoustic model , but at a good price. I honestly wouldn't buy those other skinny, three-legged stands or even the cheaper ones that look alot like these, they do not break down and are not adjustable like these....get one of these and see for yourself and compare and you'll choose this one every time. It not only works flawlessly, it looks REALLY GREAT too!! I actually get compliments all the time on my guitar stands! And get asked alot where I got them, I just send them here to Guitar Files. If you're considering another stand, don't...get this one in either acoustic or electric or both, you won't regret it.
