Sometimes a product in our Shopping Cart may be Back Ordered from the manufacturer.
We try our best to display each products status (In Stock - Out of Stock etc..). Our Stock is accurate but our stock status may change without notice because we are open 24/7 365 days a year online.
If you place an order and the product(s) you ordered is Out of Stock we will
notify you via email and give you the expected time of delivery.
You can cancel your backorder at any time as long as it's not already processed.
Usually it's no more than a couple days to a month. We try our best to maintain
our stock but sometimes a back order will arise. A Full Refund is needed
if a product is backordered for a long period of time.
How to Cancel your order
You must send an email to cancel_my_order@theguitarfiles.com in order to cancel your order. If your order is already processing or shipped it's not possible to cancel.
Note: There is a delay with our order system status: If your order says processing it most likely has already shipped.

(2.) Product Arrived Damanged:
If your order arrived damanged please notify us within 24hrs of it's arrival.
In most cases a RA# is needed from the shipping carrier.
This pertains to damage by the shipping carrier such as (UPS or USPS) and not The Guitar Files.
Insurance will cover damanged orders in most cases if cases by shipping carrier.
(3.) Product Doesn't Work/Broken:
If your order arrived and does not work please let us know within 24hrs of receiving
your order so we will arrange for a replacement.
We try our best to inspect each and every product before shipment to ensure this doesn't happen.
We will handle shipping costs! - USA orders only
Note: International customers cover shipping costs both ways
We can't be held liable for equipment damage do to purchasing the wrong model power supply for electronics,
guitar stands that may effect the finish on your instruments etc... If unsure please ask before you place your order.

Please contact us before returning any product! No return(s) will be granted if it doesn't meet
one the the (3) conditions above. Note:
All return(s) must be in their original condition along with original box(s),paper work, warranty card(s) etc.
Note:
A 25% Restocking Fee will be added if product is returned damaged or not in it's original condition(s).
The restocking fee also applies if you blindly return a product without first contacting us!
Return Policy Doesn't Cover
Any product(s) you simply change you mind about or just don't want anymore.
Again in order to be eligible for a return it must meet one of our (3) conditions above.
Refused Shipment
We charge $10.00 for any refused shipment plus all charges for freight.
This includes not accepting your order,you moved and the shipping carrier has to ship back to us,refused calltags for returns etc.
Shipping history is available through the shipping carrier USPS or UPS.

Please note that when a return is needed we try our best to send a replacement and a call tag as quickly as possible, normally before we get the damaged product(s)
returned to us. If an unlikely event you decide to keep the defective product(s) along with return and disregard the calltag, we will charge your credit card as if you placed a second order.
If you have paid through Paypal we will file a theft complaint with Paypal and have the matter resolved.
NOTE: The amount charged will be the same as the first order.
Sales,specials,promo's, price changes,free shipping are all excluded.
Not returning products is legally considered THEFT and we take this very serious and will be reported to law enforcement.
Holiday Orders?
Were not responsible for shipping delays due to Holidays/Birthdays (Christmas,Easter,Thanksgiving,Valentines Day etc....) We have no control over any shipping carriers promptness. In this case no returns will be granted if your unhappy that your order didn't arrive on time. Were only human!
International Orders?
We are leading the way with International Shipping. Most Music Stores limit their shipping
to just domestic and a few countries. We don't have these limits we ship to over 174 countries!
Note: - Were not responsible for any brokage fees, taxes etc... that may be encountered by your countries customs office. If your not sure please ask your customs office before ordering.
All orders are shipped with insurance to ensure accurate tracking of your order. The most common shipping method is Airmail which is 4-7 days! Express mail is also available
How fast you want your order and the shipping method you choose will determine the final shipping costs!

We have realtime shipping rates from UPS and USPS(United States Postal Service). Note: shipping rates are estimates and do not include costs for oversized packages such as guitars,guitar cases etc...
Once we ship and your order leaves the US we can't be held responsible if your order is lost/stolen. You must notify your postal service or customs department. We will however send a USPS form 542 to track your order upon request.

Shipping Address Changes
We will not be held responsible for sudden address changes. This includes entering a wrong shipping address during checkout, calling us or emailing us the correct shipping address after your order has been shipped.
Once your order has been shipped you take full responsibility over any errors. We will not reship your order or refund your order. In most cases the shipping carrier will send the order back to the sender (Guitar Files)
If your order hasn't been shipped we will do our best to correct the error, but no guarantee will be given whatsoever
