The Guitar Files was founded in 1999 by Delaware Native "Brian Calloway". Brians 25+ years guitar playing, teaching and music retail experience all lead to the creation of the Guitar Files. After High School, Brian majored in Professional Music at America's #1 Music College "Berklee College of Music" in Boston MA. After College, Brian started a profitable guitar lesson studio, where he taught 1000's of students while still finding time to manage a local music store. In 1996 he began to realize he could put his knowledge online to break up the monotony of teaching the same lessons over and over and offer brand name products worldwide at lower prices then most competitors. Being a fan of X-Files the name Guitar Files was inevitable. Within the first 5 years the Guitar Files had grown into a popular learning and shopping destination averaging millions of hits a month.
