A PA System consists of speakers, power amp etc...

If you want a louder amp just get another amp with speaker out jacks. Or get a preamp and a poweramp and whatever 4-12 cab you like. You will spend alot more than $150 dollers though.

I would plug the line out of your amp into a stereo if you just play around the house. This way your stereo will amplify the sound!

If your gigging get a direct box and go straight to the board. Personally I hate the sound of a guitar with line level devices but they do make DBs with cab simulatorswhich make it sound better.

"Speaker Out" is low impedence, high power, intended to drive one or more speakers.
"Line Out" is high impedence, line level (low power), and will probably be about as audible in the speaker as the guitar would be if you connected it directly to the speaker and threw the amp away.

you have to be careful there is a line out and a headphone out.
not all line outs are correctly labeled, depending on the manifacturer.
a headphone out type line out is suitable for running into a pa system.
it all depends on the harshness of the output signal, a harsh signal will saturate the output of the trannyies of the amp and fry the coil in your speaker.
did this to a set of speakers with quad 12inches, ouch, now i have to replace the whole set at about 1500 for the lot.
that set has been set aside for future work.
mick
read your manual, and at worst ring the manifacturer, five minute call, dont stuff them around though
