I thought it might be a good idea to have a thread where people can nominate a guitar slinger because there isn't one already.
So come on folks, join in, it'll save us Mods having to use our shriveling brains to think them up :giggly:

I find it to be a hard choice between Slash and Eddie van halen. but in the long run id have to vote on eddie.

Paul Simon...Okay he was no Hendrix but a great guitar player and composer, Not to mention his singing and songwriting. His work on Scarborough Fair and The Boxer may not be the most difficult piece but is quite good. I guess it all depeneds on what you mean by guitar slinger. What makes a good guitarist? Speed, Technicality, and difficulty or Feeling, soul and meaning?
