Hey everyone. I have a question. I have heard that Fender Strats are awesome, and that Les Pauls are good, but I also want to know your take on Kimberly. Are they good for beginners?

@anon- For that kind of money, BUY USED! You'll get a better guitar... just make sure you testplay!(no ebay). While ebay rocks, and I use it a lot, if you have that little to spend, then that means you don't have the money to buy a second one when the first one's a lemon, and the hard facts of eBay is that it's overflowing with ripoffs, entrylevel junk and copies in that price range. Visit your pawnshops, flea markets and check the used section at your local music store.

I am truly the master of budget guitars.

SFGl, I'm not trying to be a pain in the arse, but you seem to have a habit of hijacking other's threads.

Common netiquette is to start a new thread for a question of your own if it changes the flow of the topic(i.e. turning the thread from a general "what's good" to a specific "is this good" thread). It also keeps the forums nice and tidy.

I promise I'm not trying to give you a hard time, and I'm not being a meanie. Just thought you might not be familiar w/standard operating procedure on forums.

thanks,
json
