Does anyone have any idea to do a transparent grey finish on a flamed maple top. Please help!

I would use a grey stain then put a clear coat on top of that.

Thanks, but do u mean clear coat like a laquer or French Polish?

I would use
Nitrocellulose laquer or Polyurethane

The other alternative is to get someone to mix up a grey tinted laquer
