I have a esp kh-202 that I am trying to install a 81/85 set in. I wired the thing according to the provided instructions and even contacted emg for help. They sent me 2 drawings and none of them worked. I have 2 vol an 1 tone with a 3 way slotted switch. If some one could give me a drawing or adivce that would rule!

When I wire EMG's I wire them like regular pickups and then worry about the power supply afterwards.
Thich wire are you supplying the power to?

It is connected to the tone, and then from the tone to the switch. It might help if i could just send you a copy of the drawing they sent me. I tried to post it here but I don't know how.

If you have the picture of the drawing in your pictures on your computer then all you have to do is use image shack to post it here.

http://www.imageshack.us/

click browse...find the pic and then host it...right click on the URL for forums...left click select all...right click on URL again...left click copy.

Come back here and right click then left click paste...then preview post to see if it worked...there are forums 1 and 2 to choose from after hosting on image shack...try # 1 first.

Also try image kafe...it allows for different image types.

Not sure if this info will help however I thought I would post it just in case you may need the info.

Try taking a screen shot of it.

Heres how I do it.

Get to where you want to take a screen shot...press print screen and ALT on your keypad at the same time...it will seem like nothing happened.

Now go to your programs and go to the paint program...mines under accessories...click on edit and then click paste...now the document should be visable in paint.

Now press file an save as...just call it what you want and save it.

Now go to imageshack or image kafe and host it.
Photobucket might work also.
You have to create an account with photobucket.

No idea why it's not working.
If you followed that diagram properly, it should work

I ended up installing seymour duncans (sh2/sh4) in my kh 202 which sounds pretty nice. I installed the emgs in another guitar with 1 volume and 1 tone and they worked just fine. I still don't know what the problem was but they work now. Any way sorry it took so long to respon and thanks for the help.
