Hey everyone I am new here and new to the guitar. I own an electric left handed Austin guitar (GOD I HATE BEING LEFT HANDED IT MAKES LEARNING CORDS AND ALWAYS LOOKING AT THEM BACKWARDS SUCH A PAIN).

I've aquired a brand new amp from a friend as a Christmas present to get me started. It's a Behringer Ultratwin GX212...lot of effects and nobs and things all of which i have no clue what do hahahaha. I'm really looking forward to learning the guitar and participating in this forum.

Behringer amps are not bad kinda in the middle if you rated them from 1-10.
Join in on the fun here! Look forward to hearing more from you.

Behringer's good stuff. If it helps you any to watch other left-handed players, go to YouTube.com and enter "left handed guitar" in the search field for some cool videos. Here's one at EveryZing.com:

I am new to guitar and the forum too. You know whats funny is when I was 9 years old I played left handed for a few months, then gave it up. Now at 48 I play right handed and have been for about 4 months. It feels better. Weird.

Ever try putting a mirror up in front of the chord book? Tricky, but it will show left handed fingering.
