Michael Schenker has been around for a long time. Strating with The Scorpions while putting together his own band ( U.F.O) then moving on to MSG. He was also involved in an mid 90's project featuring Tracy Gunn (L.A Guns) also the drummer from VIXEN and a couple other HAIR BAND members popular during the 90's.
The band was called CONTRABAND. They covered some old tunes and it was really quite a cool recording.
I like Michaels playing. He has a lot of chops, shows some amazing speed at times and also he can throw down the blues with the best of them. I give Scenker a 4 out of 5 and a big

M.Schenker is a really impressive player. He appeared in 70's with a typical style, hard but melodic lines and fat sound(good example for using the wah-pedal as a filter effect but not just a 'croaker').
He also modernizes his playing style through the years and keeps it attractive.
4+/5

Michael is one of the better guitarists of all time, he's one who put the V on the map. there is some good clips on youtube about his style of playing and how he started lessons early on with this older brother Rudolph.

5/5
