Hey there,
Ok, my question is this: Would it work to put a bridge single coil in the
middle position, without changing the sound, and keeping the single coil
sound? I mean, would changing the position lose the sound of the original
sound? If someone can answer this, please do. ____________________ Hello there. I play guitar. So yeah. lol. |

Most bridge position pickups are hotter than the mid and neck pickups......
Not always the case as this can be modified..........If it's a single coil
pickup you will still get the single coil sound.
It will still sound like a mid single coil because of the position.
In other words the farther you get from the bridge the warmer the
sound.
Make sense????
You can explain it a hundred different ways.

| Alright, I get it. Does the same hold true for humbuckers? Is it just the
single coils? ____________________ Hello there. I play guitar. So yeah. lol. |

| Like, I now know that single coils are wired the same. Are certain types of
humbuckers wired to be a bridge, mid, or neck? ____________________ Hello there. I play guitar. So yeah. lol. |

Humbuckers are mostly wired the same as humbuckers, the main thing that
affects tone is the position.
Also, they type of magnet used, and wht number od winding or the
resistance. Pickups with higher resistance/ammount of windings (It's all
related, more windings=more rresistance) are generally hotter, i.e. higher
output and more ful on tone ____________________ Technology, not technique
