| Im new to the whole home recording thing. What exactly do i need to make my
own CD? Do i need to but a Digital Recording Software or is there a cheaper
way of doing it? I want somthing with a drum machine. I have a pedal and an
amp with a MIDI slot thing (have no idea what to do with that). Please Help

You can you record everything you need on your computer. Checkout
Cakewalk.com as a good start. You can start simply by plugging into your
sound cards input then grow from that. Get a cd burner for your computer
to archive your ideas. |

If you've got a new Mac, it's got a function called Garage Band that should
help ya out a lot... and in the usual Apple fashion, it's easily explained
