Its all about cost and what Im willing to pay for a set of strings...plus
there has to be some quality there.
I use because of the cost.
Ive bought more expensive strings and wasnt that impressed so for the best
value I go with these strings for my electric.
For the acoustic I use GHS.

| I really don't have a favorite brand. GHS,D'Addario,Ernie Ball, DR are all
great strings. ____________________ Get the name to sell first then the trend makes millions. |

hmmm well i used accuwound for elecrtic. i thougbht they sounded really
good, they dont break .. well theones i bought didnt they work really
well,m i would recoemend them for anything.. heyre not really a big kind of
string brand like earnie ball but work just as well.. not alot of people
have heard about them, but if you ask them to deliver or if you go to like
a ted browns.. they should have them , and for acoustic used earthwood.
which sounds well.. hmmm.. bright but not too bright,it was a nice tone for
a standard tuned acoustic.. i wouldnt know for drop d and what not. |

Ernie Ball Super Slinkies are supposed to be really nice. My cousin uses
them and he loves 'em. My fender came with fender super bullets on it
already, and I personally love them, but I'd imagine they are pricey.
D'addario XL is also good. |

Not sure if anyone else had this problem however when I owned my fender
strat years ago I tried many strings and the only strings that sound good
on a fender were fender strings...I always had to buy the fenders which
cost more because all other strings didnt sound right on the guitar...This
was in the 90's when i bought and then sold it shortly after that...Im not
sure all fenders are this way. ____________________ Treat people the way you would want to be treated. |

I've got DRs on my WRXT Warrior, and those are pretty sturdy, but still
allow the nice bend I like. My dad's Les Paul's strings are like butter,
but I need to ask him what he's using... I personally love his strings more
than my dog. ____________________ Just because it\'s not a sin, doesn\'t mean it can\'t be. |
