Here's one for you. Has anybody heard of Dream Theatre or John Patrutti? If

You mean john petrucci he's a great guitarist. He knows alot but he doesn't
really have his own unique style. For example if you hear just one note
from Hendrix you know it's him or Eddie Van Halen,Jeff beck,Clapton
etc....
Overall he smokes most of them with clean speed and technique.
Not for everyone though.
Dream Theater sounds alot like the band Rush or Genesis but alot more
heavy.

Love em.The general public isn`t into 5/8 time and some of the odd time
signatures they use.This is a real musicians band. |

music rocks. I moved on to them since Extreme disbanded.
EROTOMANIA (Their other songs are good too, but this is the

I like DT a lot, John Petrucci is one of my favourite guitar player. I
figured out how to play many of their songs, with a lot of trouble of
course (months of practicing ). Some of my
favourites: Erotomania, The Dance of Eternity, A Change Of Seasons, The
Glass Prison, As I Am. |

I like Dream Theater, but I like Liquid Tension Experiment better.
However, I haven't been able to find a CD anywhere, even the used music
stores.

MIDI's (low quality sound files) at dreamtheater.net in the media section. |
