I have decided to give learning to play guitar one more time. I put the
question on the beginner area, so I will here too. What, if any, is a good
beginner video (VHS or DVD) to learn with. My chords sound so horrible, I
know I must be doing something wrong.
The other times I tried to learn, I always thought that my guitar was
wrong and got different ones. Now I have six of them and can not play any
of them. ____________________ Thanks, Steve |

Hang in there man...help is on the way.
Do you use a pick...if so how thick is it...It might help to start off with
a thinner pick for now...just for learning then upgrade to a different
pick.
Maybe thats not the problem
When I teach people I always notice that there arm or elbow placement is
key for helping them with chord changes...meaning depending on the person
you may want your elbow closer to your body or away from body...or even
closer to the neck of farther away from the neck...Basically move that arm
and elbow around from side to side....front to back until you find a spot
that helps you when chording...Try it anyway...Thanks
