Author: Subject: Question Re Adding Pickup Cover - Humbucker

Recently purchased Seymour Duncan JB and Jazz model humbuckers for bridge and neck respectively. Own an Epiphone Les Paul Custom and wanted to replace pickups. Before installing them I picked up pickup covers (Epiphone covers) and started "a new project". How can I get new pole screws?? How do I know the pickup covers fit? Screw holes line-up and it appears that the depth is correct. WHat is proper depth? Should there be a space between top of pickup and cover? Anyone have any ideas

I'm not sure if you can get new pole screws. Whats wrong with the old ones?
If everything lines up, then fit the covers. There should be a little gap between the cover and the bobbins of the pickup, it's nothing to worry about.
I'm not sure there is a proper depth because each manufacturer will make thier pickups slightly differently
