So when it comes to maintenceing my guitar, how should i go about doing this? I've heard of using #2 graphite to lubricate the nuts or whatever they're called (the things that the strings wrp around at the end of the neck) but im not sure if thats the good way to go or if i need to be purchasing something.
I'm also wondering what are the parts that i should be checking and cleaning/tweaking and when should i go about doing this (i.e. every month, after every playing...etc.)

Thanks

You only need to do this when needed. I would just use a #2 pencil that's what I use when I don't have a tube of graphite laying around. If your pots are dirty clean them but again only when they start acting up.

Pretty simple..... Play and don't sweat it.
