I dont have a band now, so I want to be able to make songs on my own. The only drum machine I see with a guitar input is the Boss DR-880. Only problem is its $500. I really dont have to have a drum machine, but something to lay down songs with. (maybe a cheap digital recorder) I need some advice on what to get. Peace

Im kind of in the same boat...I have a boss dr 550 drum machine I run through my amp...I bought it cheap on ebay...its better than nothing...I used to have a fostex x 14 or 15(cant remeber)4 track cassette machine... and it died...Im looking on ebay for something...Im going for the cassette type...I find its easier for me...not sure if I want a digital.

My advice if you have a credit card is to join ebay for free(credit card is needed.I dont think it has to be your credit card...someone in the family...Ebay is where you will find what you want for a fraction of the cost...

I know you want a DR-880 however a Boss DR-660 just sold for $75 plus shipping...

Im selling the machine I have this week on ebay for $40...One just sold for $40 on ebay tonight...So I thought I would sell mine since I will be upgrading soon.
