I've noticed this alot. My mom played guitar back in the day and she didn't have tabs. She played with chords. What ever happened with chords? Tabs seem to be the big thing.

Personally I hate tabs.. There good for certain things I guess...
I teach students more ear training then Tabs so they can learn a song for themselves, rather than relying on a incorrect tab off the net.......

This is not always the case but most of the time.

Not only are there a lot of incorrect tabs out there, a lot of chords in printed song books are wrong, too. Unless you develop your own ear, you won't be able to tell the difference.

Hi Gary
Glad to have you!

Yeah it's amazing how many people will play a song that's completely wrong because someone printed it in a book.....

Without a good ear you will be fooled everytime....

A good ear will not only allow you to play a song correctly but it will also allow you to pick up on a guitarist tonal aspects in a song.
