Has anybody heard of Laurence? He is awsome at fingerpicking and does a bunch of beatles songs. He plays the melody chords and bassline at the same time. Does anybody know where I can find the tab for this. Any Beatles song he does would be awsome. Thanks.

Ohh The Merle Travis,Chet Atkins style.

I enjoy playing this style.
As a Joke I put Star Spangled Banner and We Wish You A Merry Christmas together at the same time.

It's kinda like Yankee Doodle Dixie by Chet Atkins.

There's lots of great finger pickers out there.

I will have to check out Laurence Juber.

Chet atkins is the first name that I thought of...I love that kind of guitar work.

i bought a book of beatles fingerpicking songs so no need for tabs. Yeah he does some great covers like little wing, while my guitar gently weeps, strawberry fields, in my life, oh darling. Its pretty amazing (to me atleast).

How about posting parts of some of the tab in this thread so we can learn a bit of it...It would be interesting to try a few measures anyway.

I have an awesome video of Laurence Juber on my website, it takes a while to download but it is worth the wait.
www.angelfire.com/blues2/jazzdog

Also have my first recording of my feeble attempt to play the intro to Pride and Joy.

Heres the intro and verse to "in my life" by the beatles. I got this tab of Guitar pro so copying it into wordpad and onto this messed it up a bit. I did my best to fix it as best I could.

I was looking on the web to find guitar tabs for Laurence Juber. A particular song that I was interested in learning how to play was "in my life". The tabs you posted seem to be correct. Can you post the link for the whole tab? Thank you.

Do you have guitar pro (4). If you do you can go to www.mysongbook.com (hope im not violating any site rules) and type in Laurence Juber.

If you dont I could try to tab it for you, it might take a while.
