| John died for no reason what so ever...Even the guy who killed him regrets
it...What a waste...Gun control ...we need more gun control...To many guns
in the hands of the people...stop the insanity...Collect all the guns in
the nation, melt them down and make kitchen appliances...Thats my
opinion...I know what your thinking...How am I going to protect myself from
the people who have the guns...Its a mini cold war really...If he has
weapons then we need weapons...Oh no...they have more weapons...Lets build
more...No one wins...wake up...these are just my thoughts...right or wrong
its how I feel...Its honest anyway...peace. ____________________ Treat people the way you would want to be treated. |

The guy who shot him was star struck. I guess he thought Lennon wasn't
human?

It's a tragedy when anyone dies, but I often think: What would have become
of the people like Lennon, Monroe, Presley and Cobain if they had lived?
Honestly, not to bash, but the cult following strengthened so much after
their deaths, making them more than human. If many were alive, we'd
probably be reading articles of the likes of Gary Coleman and Michael
Jackson.
Again, I'm not glad anyone dies, and loved Lennon's compositions, but how
many of us would discuss his birthday if he were alive? Not I.
thanks,

The good die young. That's the saying
If Hendrix were still alive he wouldn't be as big as he's now.
Good points schwim

I didn't say you couldn't be big without being dead, but we're not
celebrating Eric's birthday, are we?
thanks,

Would James Dean be as big today as a actor if he didn't die young? How
about singer/poet Jim Morrison?
Another is Elvis, he's still selling billions in merchandise. He proberly
wouldn't even have a record deal if he lived today.
No Elvis bashing
I agree a great talent dieing young leaves us with a mystique wondering how
good or better they could of been.
here's some greats:
Randy Rhoads, Jimi Hendrix, Robert Johnson, Charlie Christian, SRV, Danny
Gatton and on and on. ____________________ Get the name to sell first then the trend makes millions. |
