The new strats are junk.I bought one for $1800 and ended up selling it for
$500.The thing wouldnt stop rusting no matter how much I kept it
clean.Junk!

| you got jacked! is that $1800 canadian? beccause if thats american that
was probably the worst deal ever. and anyways back to the topic. yeah if
your willing to spend $1000 on a guitar you might wanna reconsider your
options. personally i would go with a les paul but thats jus a personal
preference. most srats are under $1000 so you dont have much to worry
about. o if you like strats you could always go with the G&L. it was the
company leo fender made after he sold fender to CBS. ____________________

| It was $1800 canadian.Canada has almost a 15 % sales tax so the taxes
effect the price.Still it was a nice guitar with a sun burst finish however
the hardware wouldnt stop rusting. My other guitars were not rusting.Again

| Yes I live on the coast however none of the other guitars had this
problem. The whole guitar had gold plated hardware....well it did until the
rust started setting in.It rusted from the salt and oils from your hands.I
wiped it down everytime I finished playing it however nothing could stop
it.again junk! ____________________ Treat people the way you would want to be treated. |

I rate Japanese Fenders very highly, the build quality is fantastic.
The electronics let them down a bit, but they can be changed.
It could probably all be done under your 1000 budget ____________________ Technology, not technique

| I dont know why it rusted but it did so I have a real opinion on these new
fenders.I should of bought a gibson.I would still be playing the gibson.I
didnt want to replace the guitar.I wanted the guitar to go away and went
away it did. ____________________ Treat people the way you would want to be treated. |
