I've only had an Ibanez acoustic and now I just got an Ibanez AEF30 that is
an acoustic electric. I'm a beginner and I dont know what kind of amp i
need and what accessories that go along with it. Any pointers would be
helpful. Thanks so much. |

Acoustic electric amps are alot like bass amps but with more mids and
treble. I think Crate makes a pretty good acoustic electric amp. SWR also
has the California Blonde which is a killer amp for this purpose. They even
include a XRL Mic input so the amp can also be used as a PA for a one man
band.

marshall has some nice acoustic amps, check out the AS50R acoustic combo.
it has a mic input too. its a good idea to shop around. go to your local
store and try a few amps out so you know what they sound like, and then go
see if you can find the same amp for less, atleast thats how i shop. |
