i'm planning to try and buy boss super overdrive SD-1 effect. anyone
already had it ? and if its good for the price ? cause i have roland cube
30 amp and i need somethin that will give a little bit better sound

I've had one for years and it's a great pedal.
Keep in mind it's a overdrive not a distortion pedal.

i use the sd-1 for zeppelin solos. it sounds great when you play zeppelins
"the ocean" . great pedal i havent had any problems with it yet.

You say better sound? The Boss SD-1 will overdrive the sound you have, not
make it better.
