Here's one of my fav's....Steves been around for quite a while, and he's done it all.... he's possess all the gifts every guitarist strive for and makes playing look effortless..... I rate Steve a 10 on a scale of 1 to 5 he surpases the bounds of playing and is a huge inspiration to me and I'm sure many others..... :guitarjam:

I was going to post the bio...but it had a copy write....so I didnt put it up..be sure to look at the link I posted above...theres an hour long interview with Morse and a couple live clips of the Dixie Dregs....a very cool site....enjoy...

Hey Ricoboc, it would be nice to post the Bio in Guitarist Bio's.

In the files section not forums.


Where's the bio there's ways to doing it legal.

I hate to be the odd apple here, but I think Steve Morse is great technically, but his playing is as memorable as a Whoopi Goldberg movie. Don't get me wrong, he's great to learn from, which is fantastic, but I don't find him inspiring at all. He lacks, to me, an individual flavour that can seperate him from anyone else. I guess the bottom line is that I would sit and learn a lick or two but you'd never see me driving around with a Kansas CD in my player.
