Does anyone of you guys know how to get that classical 50's twang sound? I want to replace my guitar's humbuckers (it's a semi-hollow) and I've found these TV'Tron pickups from tv jones (www.tvjones.com) but I want to know if there are some other options... do you know any?

You need a Good Tele Pickup for that sweet Twang. Single coil!

DiMarzio "Twang King" Tele Bridge & Neck pickups are a good choice.

Humbuckers are boxy sounding.

That's what I think

Do you think I need to change my guitar? cuz I told you it is a semi-hollowbody, and those pickups (which I think are great) doesn't fit on it! or can I adapt them somehow? there is a way?... thanks.

In order to give you better advice it would be helpful to know what kind of players you like etc......

What kind of Twang are your looking for?

The Country Twang??

A 335 in my opinion is a great jazz blues guitar.

The Fender Telecaster will give you all the twang you need.

You are right! ok let me explain you... I've known that strat-solidbody sound my whole life, but the last year I bougth this semi-hollowbody guitar, and right now I'm more interested in this kind of axes (the "jazzy" ones), I love those warm sweet sounds!. Well, recently I've found the Gretsch tone, even Rickenbacker tones, wich to my ears have some sweet twang sound i.e. Brian Setzer or even George Harrison in some of the early Beatles songs... that's what I'm looking for...
I don't have the whole amount for a Gretsch (or something like that, rickenbackers, guilds...) so I want to experiment with the one I have and see if I can get that twang sound.
Thanks again!

What you need is a Humbucker sized P90.
The P90 is gibsons single coil pickup. they usually are a different size to humbuckers, but Gibson and a few others make them to drop straight into a humbucker mounting.
Failing that, buy a Tele

A Rio Grande Fat Bastard P-90 would do nicely.
