I have a RG4EX1... for some reason this guitar is not on the ibanez website
but w/e ^_^.
its a tremolo arm with 2 hums and a single coil in the middle...
Now this is what im having trouble with.... i have changed the pickups as
follows...
neck SD jazz, middle SD little '59 stacked Hum, and a SD pearly gates in
the bridge..
ive tried wiring with this diagram from seymour duncan...
http://www.seymourduncan.com/support/wiring-diagrams/schemati
cs.php?schematic=3lil_hum_1v_1t_sper5way
since i thought they were all humbuckers i needed this type of schematic. i
need it to be split so i can get different tones. i already have a super
switch from fender... and still have the original 5 split switch that came
with the guitar... but im getting noise in all positions.
What am i doing wrong... or does someone know if im wiring it correctly....

Sounds like an earthing problem to me.
Without seeing how you've wired it, I can't really tell you if it's
wrong.
Any chance of a picture? ____________________ Technology, not technique

which one should i use? the SD for Strat diagram... or this one?
(remember i dont have a strat.... so im not using 250k pots like the
diagram says. its a ibanez RG with 500k pots) |

Hmm, Either should work fine, since they are both diagrams for triple
humbuckers, which is basically what you are running.
There may be a bad earthy somewhere in what you have done, maybe a dry
joint.
Might be worth checking all the soldered joints you have done ____________________ Technology, not technique
