I have an Ibanez Prestige 2620. And everytime I touch the toggle switch even w/o hitting any strings i hear static on my amp. I also get the static if i am turning the volume knob. I'm pretty sure this has something to do with the wiring. How do I fix this prob.
Also, has anyone here installed a "on/off" switch on a guitar??? to get that "les paul" effect where one p/u is mute and one is on. (the very end of Lenny Kravitz' Are you gonna go my way

ummm could be a number of things. Do you have a tube amp? Did you try cleaning your volume pots?
