This is probably just a shot in the dark but. I have a "original Crybaby *Model GCB-95* " I perchused this i think in 95 or 96. The problem i have its I plug it in and all is good , but when I push down on the peddle to click the button to engadge the wahh effects it goes silent. Im not no electrical wizard but im thinken mabye i have a bad ground, or the button is just seen its days.
I honestly could care less about doing wah wah effects but I have always enjoyed the way it enhanced my sound. Simply said it made my jackson hot sound scream with delite. The main question i have is : Is this a comman problem? Is there a way i can just bipass the button and have the pedle be permenelty on?

The circut board apears good , no weathering or corosion. so im thinken its eather the dial that the peddle moves or the switch is just shorted out. Im thinken its the switch becouse it goes silent as soon as i activate it , and yes my 9v battery is fresh.
