I have a Fender Deville Hot Rod and I am playing a Boss Me50 for effects.
The Fender has great clean tones but the Distortion side needs help, so the
me50 helps but still not overly impressed. Thoughts?

Boss make some nice overdive pedals too.
I use an SD2 dual overdrive with my Fender amp, really versatile 2 channel
