Hi,
I'm looking at Seymour Duncan's SH-1 '59 Model humbuckers for a new LP, and
I need a little help. I see these pickups are available with either a
single-conductor cable or a 4-conductor cable. Can someone please explain
what difference (if any) there could be between these two options in terms
of tone? Why would you choose one over the other?
Any help would be great. Thanks!

Depends on how you want to wire it with other pickups etc... Coil tap,
series,parallel...........

OK, thanks. I'm not actually interested in coil tapping, etc. I'm just
looking for a conventional set-up - two '59s, two volume/two tone controls,
and a 3-way toggle. I'm guessing that a single-conductor cable will suit
me fine?
