Just wondering how you ladies and gentlemen
feel about Elixir strings? Like or Dislike? I put a set of my Gibson J-45 acoustic and really like them so far. I'm using the Nanoweb 12 Gauge. I'm a true fan of Phosphor Bronze as they produce a nice bright sound for my Gibson J-45. 80/20's are a little dull.

The Elixirs do a good job and I'm suprised because they have a coating.

Anyone?

The idea is good and they sound good on one of my fenders so far. I had a friend that had a set and the coating started to coming off but he left them on for like 5 years so that's proberly the problem. I think he was using the original set before the nanoweb version came out "Polyweb". I like the fact that their including the anti-rust 3,2,1 strings on the acoustic sets now.

So far so good

I like them, they sound pretty good and seem to keep off the sweat and grim from everyday playing.
