Great? okay? Horrible?
I've heard a lot of mixed reviews, esp. in concern to his live
performances. What do yall think? I'm going to see him in concert in a
couple of weeks, and would like to know what I should expect. Thanx

But I went to a cd store and bought a disc.
He has some good songs!

I kind of know who ben harper is...I thought I seen him play slide guitar
and steel slide guitar live a few times on TV and wasnt that impressed at
the time...I thought the tunes were good and the singing was good but the
guitar playing was limited...not sure if it was him or not...the guy was
black however im still not sure...I didnt think his playing was that great
however like I said i dont even know if it was him and I did like the songs
and the vocals.
I have also heard his name yet never really heard the tunes...I went to an
official site of his and I have to say "I like It"

I think he sounds a lot like prince with a more organic harder edge
sound...not saying hes influenced by prince however I believe the both
artists have similar backgrounds in regards to music influence...I like the
music...has a nice sound...it has a retro feel however good music is good
music...I think I may have to check out more music of his.
