A Les Paul tribute concert will be held Nov. 15 at Cleveland's State Theatre. Slash, Bon Jovi's Richie Sambora, ZZ Top's Billy F. Gibbons, James Burton, the Ventures, Jennifer Batten, Dennis Coffey, Lenny Kaye, Steve Lukather, Barbara Lynn and Alannah Myles have signed on to honor the living legend Les Paul.
The event is part of the American Music Masters series and presented by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum, Case Western Reserve University and Gibson Guitar. Tickets are on sale now.
Paul, now 93, still performs two shows each Monday night at the Iridium Jazz Club in New York. He joined artists like Slash, Sambora and the Goo Goo Dolls' Johnny Rzeznik for the just-released collection "Les Paul and Friends: A Tribute To a Legend," which arrived Sept. 30 via Immergent. |
