Lick of the Month - April 2007

This months lick uses all natural harmonics to create a cool harp like effect. Natural harmonics are created when you slightly braze a note with the tip of your fretting fingers, normally with your first and second, but you can use any fingers you like. A good example is Van Halen's Panama where Eddie Van Halen uses Natural harmonics throughout the song. Included is the Sheet music, Tab and Midi File for easy reference.

NOTE: N.H stands for Natural Harmonic.

When playing the lick below alternate between your first and third fingers and let the notes ring as you play the next harmonic.
