AMT Guitar Pedals - 2006 Pedal Lineup

AMT Electronics Co. in Siberia Russia, team up with U.S. Entrepreneur, Don Barnett, to form AMT North America Inc. located outside of Memphis TN. The facility will warehouse, and distribute AMT Guitar Pedals in the United States, Canada and South America as well as and serving as the U.S. Headquarters for AMT Electronics. AMT North America will be the sole distributor in the United States, Canada and South America for all AMT products.

AMT electronics are produced by professional electronics technicians one at a time since the early 80's. They are built to Sergei's Marichev exact voicing specifications. After the electronics are made -they are sent over to Sergei and the team in the Siberian sound laboratory. The Siberian crew takes the raw metal material and hand forms each box with specially designed hand tools, made just for our boxes. The holes in the box are laser cut, not drilled, even a hole you will never use for anything, is important to Sergei. Then the process of painting and screen printing starts. All of which is done in house to ensure each pedal is exactly the same. There is no room for error, even for the paint job. Finally the electronics are loaded into the boxes and assembly begins. AMT solders and assemble them one at a time. Then the sound is checked against a Standard for the pedal; but the process doesn’t stop there. After assembly, each pedal is sent to a team of professional guitarists who play and hand tune each pedal individually to make sure the pedal you receive (1.) Actually works…and (2.) is tuned to perfection.

Once the final adjustments are done, the pedals are hand packed into crush proof shipping boxes and sent to AMT North America for distribution. Once at AMT North America they open each pedal and do a final check for any shipping damage or lose of sound quality. No pedal is sent leaves the factory if it doesn’t work or has the wrong sound, unlike an assembly line process they have 100% quality control.

AMT pedals are Analog Tube Emulation Distortion pedals with built in combo amp emulation circuitry, pre-amps and built in noise gates. Designed for live, studio and direct to mixer use.
