New V2 and T2 Guitar Amps From Randall

Randall Amplifiers takes a different approach to power by developing a completely new proprietary power circuit called Valve-Dynamic, which they feel finally breaks the barriers between tube and FET. Incorporating this tube driven MOSFET power circuit into several of their amps was designed to not only capture a power tube's true reactive qualities including the feel, warmth, and musical character, but combine that with the durability and lifespan of a 400 watt MOSFET power amp. The new Valve-Dynamic power circuit is the lifeblood powering the new V2 and T2 guitar amplifiers.

The chance to demo and judge for your self will be late December as the V2 and T2 begin to arrive in stores. For the more budget conscious, Randall will also be releasing an entirely new G3 Series line at January NAMM, which also incorporates the new Valve-Dynamic power section.

The V2

Developed for the guitarist who likes multiple tone shaping options, the V2 can produce a range of tones, utilizing a full tube preamp as well as a classic Randall solid-state preamp. The new Tube driven Mosfet power section called Valve-Dynamic powers the V2 with so much reaction and feel that you would swear it was full set of power tubes driving the amp according to the company. This 12AT7 driven power circuit not only has the feel, but also an accurate frequency response found only in a full tube power section as well says Randall.

V2 Overview Specs and Features

The T2

Designed with a simple straight ahead front panel layout, this brute has a shorter, less complex signal path that produces an extremely powerful, punishing tone. Highly versatile, this 2-channel, 3 mode amplifier offers an extremely wide range of tones to fit any playing style while seriously catering to those who hunger for gain.

A power circuit called Valve-Dynamic is the engine that drives this new high powered head. This new developed Tube driven Mosfet power section is driven by a 12AT7 for natural tube feel and compression. However, the key to this power circuit is the accuracy in frequency response of a full 100 watt tube power amp, which results in tube tone, feel, and response according to Randall.
