They call it the 12 Bar Blues because after you play 12 bars you repeat it over and over. There's many different styles of blues from Texas Blues, Delta Blues, Chicago Blues, Jazz Blues and more.. The sky is the limit. Included is the basic form to get you started.
Below is the Basic 12 Bar Blues Progression in A. You could play this same progression with basic major chords or minor chords. Blues is more commonly played with the Dom 7th chord as noted below!
