Anyway, the rather innocuous (buy a dictionary) phrase "guitar geek speak"
was merely a reference to those who have been consummed by the mystery and
machinations (dictionary again) of their instrument at the expense of
making music. Just my opinion of course. Clear now? Oh, and "brow beat"
(that's in the dictionary of American slang) means to scold and/or nag
incessantly (dictionary again?). My friend, the only one fighting on this
thread is you, and if that makes you "retarded" than you said it not me.
"Cocky"? There's a big difference between being sure of one's self and
full of one's self. Contrary to what you may believe, I know the
difference. Do you? (sorry for any typos, I'm 5 Heinekens down)

I dont see how that is relevent...I know what you meant by guitar
geeks...your saying that guitar geeks are the guys learnig all the scales
and triads and everything else about guitar...your saying that it is
harmless to say that guitar players like these are geeks...I dont think
they are.
the first couple of post you made were not clear and people were having
trouble understanding what you meant exactly...I know that you called some
of us guitar geeks...And thats not cool.

It's relevant because if you're a young high school kid I don't want to
continue ripping into you. Fair enough? If you (and json) go back and
read (really read) what I wrote, you'll see that I never, NEVER (accept you
of course) called anyone on this thread a geek. You misinterperated
"guitar geek speak" (which I clearly defined) and took it personally.
People on this thread made what I thought were some stupid comments and
maybe I got a little rough. That IS me being cocky. I've also got to say
that it's remarkable that you never responded to any of the music related
points I made. What does that say? I don't know. Json did (Jack White
"sucks" as a guitarist), and you know, I disagree with him. I think loud,
simple, sloppy, distorted, overdriven sh*t is cool sometimes. But that's
just me talkin' out my ass...

I was giving my opinions on players...I said i havnt heard john mayer play
any thing good...So I disagreed with someone...Then you posted the usual
guitar "geek speek"...Ive been playing guitar for over 20 years and I know
alot about guitar playing...And im sure as hell not going to let someone
say im a geek.I dont care if it wasnt directly at me or not.I know what
your intent was...The comment about learnig all the triads and stuff pissed
me off also...
I gave my opinion on grunge which would involve cobain...I think grunge is
depressing...Thats a comment and or a opinion.Waiting for a
reply...peace...And have a cold one on me...A beer that is...Not a cold
