I have a peavey 30 Watt delta blues and it seems to sound really muddy
as i pass 2 1/2 on the clean channel it gets really muffled and i'm not getting much definition. I don't mind the natural overdrive, i love it. The problem is I can't get that good crisp in between point. Any suggestions. I'm in the studio on saturday and my amp is the only one that is lagging. I need help... of any kind.
p.s. would changing the tubes do much?

when was the last time you changed the tubes? What effects if any are you using?
