Hey GF (my virgin post) I've been playing since I was knee high to a duck (20 years) (im 26) I havent had a amp for years and I am about 2 get some santa gifts. I use to have a marshall valvestate 80 watt 2x12 but i hated it. (10 years ago) mainly cause i couldnt turn it up w/o it sounding horrid. Ive played many a tube amps and it goes w/o saying thats THE SOUND. Now im lookin at a tech 21 sansamp rpm (rack) and a rocktron velocity power amp (40 watts rms ?? i think) and that vox 2x12 cab. Maybe the ds-1 as a pedal. My ? is (I been out of the game along time) will I (would you) be pleased w/ this setup? I won't be playing live, only recording so loud is not important ! I also have a korg triton. I have a $100 mic and the 89 blue flower strat. please tell me what u think. Happy hollidays. (oh influences, Kyuss 2 nirvana 2 jimi 2 dr.dre)
