Well its a tough one...this is just my opinion however the word win is the
wrong term for me because I feel its not a competion and everyone can learn
something new off of anyone else regardless of talent level...Thats just
how I look at it...No biggy there...we all have a different way of looking
at things...Not saying anyones wrong just stating my opinion.
Well I dont think eddie would play with another guitarist such as Joe...I
dont think there is enough room in a song for both...They both like to fill
the gaps in songs so I cant see it working.
I prefer Eddie's older stuff because his music has vocals and lead
singers.
I think Joe is Good however I never got into his playing...Maybe its
because I like lyrics in my music...Who knows...Eddie started all that
tapping and stuff so I guess I would give it to eddie...However joe is more
schooled...I do not own any joe satriani CD's however I do own a bunch of
Van Hlen CD's...Its all personal preference really.

I agree nobody wins but I can say Eddie made the tapping thing popular
along with other things and joe,steve etc... followed.

It depends on the night and how many drugs eddie has ingested.
Personally I would rather watch Diamond Dave and Sammy go at it again.
