Metallica has obviosly been a great disappointment with st anger. But can
they still return? My opinion is probably not. James has already gone to
rehab.. The damage is already done. There is nothing more to fuel the
ifre. His voice has really gone downhill. He has also shared the song
writing load with the rest of the band and theirproducer, Bob Rock. They
all suck, except for Lars Ulrich. They also tried to be a new band and fit
in. In doing so it is my opinion that they lost a lot of loyal fans. Not
including me though. What do y'all think?

Hey- I don't know much about Metallica but I would like to. I'm new on
this site. Can you recommend some of their good/classic songs for me to
listen to? Thanks, much appreciated.

I recommend these albums...Ride the Lightning,Master of puppets,And Justice
for All.
I havent liked metallica since And justice for all...They lost me after

i recomend the black album. i think it is the best album.. After that i
would have to say and justice, and then Master of Puppets, then ride the
lighting, then Garage Day Revisited (NOT Garage Inc). They also have S&M
which is a concert with a concert which contains two new songs; -Human and
No Leaf Clover. I dont consider st anger a good CD AT ALL.

Sure they will continue to release killer metal tunes, they just lost alot
of fans. Lars is an pure a**
No band last forever unless your Aerosmith ____________________

i dont really like aerosmith at all. It wasnt the napster ordeal that had
them lose a lot of fans, it was st anger and the fact that they turned into
a wuss band. They are working on a new album. i THINK IT IS POSSIBLE FOR
THEM TO GO BAK TO THE KILLER STUFF THEY HAD BEFORE, BUT UNLIKELY. dOES
ANYONE ELSE NOTICE A REAL BAD SOUND QUALITY on St anger, and do u think the
new album will be good?

They can write better songs again...I think they tried something new and it
didnt work...They will come right back with a killer album...Alot of bands
have total stinkers...Then they make up for it with new albums...They tried
something new...It didnt work...Sometimes it works and sometimes it
dosent.
Im wondering if slipping albums sales encouraged this change in sound.

You raise a very good point. I meant that there is a bad sound quality in
st anger. It sounds like it is a bad download from kazaa or something. I
think they got very lazy with this album. almost nothing rhymes and his
voice sound like hes talking. Ex/ Some Kind of Monster. Its a toss up if
the new album will b a hit or not.

From what I know metallica has had some problems in their personal lives.
Besides that they got a bassist which will bring a new sound.
I agree I think they tried a new thing that bombed the next album will be
better I'm sure.
Regardless of what they release just download it on the internet and watch
Lars freak out. They really let their fans down here in the States and then
turn and have a free mp3 download festival in Germany. I lost all respct
for them personally. Without your fans your nobody. I think the low album
sales of St. Anger album
made this very point. Nothing worse then a crybaby rock star millionaire.
They could also be sitting in a run down apartment flat broke eating
grilled cheese sandwiches
