why is it that people who have a lack of musical talent think they can put
down other bands for instance metallica fans putting megadeth down how
about you go to you tube and search for kirk hammet sucks (the video says
it all) dave mustain is a much better musician. the only good metallica
is old and done with and plenty of there songs were originally written (and
or) inspired by mustaine. know if you want a true LEGEND listen to the pure
guitar mastery of Jason Becker this cat is a legend. here is a rule on
talking trash please do the following first take a look at your playing
ability if you cant play better than the person you are criticizing you
have know right to comment. with that in mind KIRK HAMMET SUCKS KURT
COBAINE SUCKS OH YEAH AND i say that knowing that there is very little
chance any of you are better than me not cockey just confident

Music isnt a competition of who is better than who...music is about
creating an idea or emotion that can connect with people...even someone who
has only been playing for a short time can create something that people
like...being a good player doesnt make you a good story teller or
songwriter which is what the majority of people are drawn to anyway...a
large percent of music listeners dont really care how good a player is
however what they do care about is if the song relates to them or moves
them in some way.

just one thing to say...if one botched riff is enough to condemn a musician
to "sucking" then pretty much every musician ever "sucks." everyone screws
up every now and then.

Its not so much that Kirk Hammet sucks, he is just predictable. Every solo
ends with the inevitable three note bend. He does not push himself as a
guitar student (as we all are, everyone has something to learn) and
Metallica has become a corporation. It's all about $ in the big leagues,
boys.
