Looking for a tuner that will let me go at least a step and a half for that
old sabbath stuff. 6th string E would be a C#. Can a standard tuner do this
??? Kinda new to electric. Been acoustic for 30 years. Time to rock a
little. Thanks.

Sabbath didnt tune evrything like that. They tuned down a step for a few
songs, sometimes a step and a half, sometimes they didnt tune down.
A full step would be d-a-f-c-g-d
I know After Forever was played tuned down a step.
Children Of The Grave may have been tuned down a step and
a half as a matter of fact Lord Of This World may have
also been a step and a half.
A lot of tunes off Master Of Reality could have been played that
way.
I never changed my tuning for songs like Iron Man ,
Paranoid or War Pigs.
