Angus has a very distinct sound...I can always tell when he's playing...something about his tone....I think Young is a good player...he never blew me away...but he can play...

3.75 rating from me....I would have given him a 4 but I get tired of the same old same old from that band..... And his playing never seemed to change over the years.....

Angus is cool and the master at keeping it simple. I like his tone but the freaky little school boy outfit has to go. I give him 3 out of 5

God bless you for putting him up and **** you both to the bowels of hell for not giving him higher marks

In all seriousness, yes, it's been said so much that it's a cliche. They're stuck in a rut when it comes to variety, BUT he's the master of the KISS method(not the band).

He looks to have the most fun of any guitarist I've ever watched play, and that's why we do it.

5 of 5, simply because I can

Schwim,
I agree about the fun statement, AC/DC was perhaps one of the most entertaing concerts I've seen..... they put on one hell o9f a show....I seen thTHE RAZORS EDGE tour...they were great...but as I stated....they never change.....

Well not my cup of tea......

I give them credit though they do have a great show.
The same 3-4 chords with a basic 4/4 beat is just plain boring to me.

Well he is a good guitar player, but i get tired of hearing the same thing over and over. He can still put on a good show though. i loved his performance at Donington.

Sounds like y'all are listening to AC/DC sober. If that is the case than a 3 is about it. If you listen to them stoned and drunk than he is clearly a 5 of 5!

i would have to give the whole band 5 out of 5 for this one fact:
yes, most of their songs do sound the same because the guitar is mostly the same, but think of this... can you not hear 3 seconds of the intro and name the song? i can.. and i give them 5 outa 5 because no other band i have heard yet , can you say that they all sound the same, yet still be able to tell which is which, adn thats a hard thing to do. :applauding:
