hi, im pretty new in guitar, i have an acoustic, i was juss wanting to know if a half size guitar sounds the same as a regular... cuz i already ordered one for 25 bux from musiciansfriend.com, or if not ... is there a way to make it sound the same by changing the strings?? thank you

A $25 dollar guitar is exactly that a $25 dollar guitar...

Depending on how it was made and the wood used will determine the overall sound. Chaging the strings with some Phosper Bronze will brighten it but hey it's a $25 dollar guitar.

it'll never be the same but dont worry about it. low price guitars is how most of the people started. Have fun with it!!!!
Ya aint gotta worry bout it getting scratched at least!!!
one thing tho,,,, if it has those plastic strings,,,, change them.

If it has nylon (plastic) strings, keep them.
Most nylon strung guitars aren't made to take steel strings, so you run the risk of warping the neck with steel strings.
