Bass player here - I know plenty about basses but zilch about guitars.
Funny story on this one - I was playing in a "hair" band in the late 80's
and sprung for an amp for our poor singer/guitarist...of course he never
paid me back but I got this MIJ guitar from him...it's been collecting dust
for far too long so i"d like to move it out but have no idea what it is.
Looks like 2 humbuckers and a strat-style pickup...this thing does play and
sound amazingly good for an inexpensive guitar...says Made in Japan on the
neckplate and has a serial number of 3080159 on the back of the
headstock...no truss rod cover... Any guesses my guitar bretheren?
