What is the story on the Chat Room. I would like to try to get people to
start using it.
I created a room for Newbies/beginners to meet and discuss information, or
just hang out. However, when I enter the room, I never see a place to type
a message?
So, what's the scoop guys?... :giggly:

Ive checked out the chatroom once...I will check it again to see what your
saying...
Everyone comes to this site at different times so in order to get people to
chat you need to post a time when its chat time so eveyone knows...for
instance 10 eastern time.
Also help with the time difference if possiable...I will check for a
website that tells what time it is for certain times like eastern and
such...
That way people know...

Chat works fine for me right now...maybe it didnt work earlier...I clicked
on a room name and chat window poped up and I typed what I wanted in the
yellow bar and send. ____________________

I glanced at chat again...I dont see a newbie room...maybe only moderators
can create a room...not sure ____________________

Ok once you go to this page you need to find United States Eastern Time/New
york.

Everyone clicks on that...that will tell what time it is in new york at
that moment...Now the trick is to find a new york time that suits the
majority of people...for instance is 6,7,8,9,10,11,oclock the best
time...we will need feedback from others to get the proper time so all can
be active in chat if they so choose to do so...Thanks

I realized that my pop-up blocker was preventing the chat window form
opening. That problem is now taken care of.
The room I created is "Newbies"...Just a place to hang out, and it is
there.
As for time, if Central time (USA) is given, I would assume that most of
the people in the US would be able to figure out what time it is in their
area. The world map would be good for those in other countries.
If any of you moderators are reading this, why don't we get rid of some of
the older chat rooms that have not been used in a long time.

We have several members that are from over seas and such...I think going by
new york time would be good...I dont think everyone would know what time it
is in new york at any given moment...so the link I posted before will help
them...I hope
Now what time should we use
10 oclock United states eastern time/new York...start with that time and
see...that will be after supper time on the west coast and not to late for
the east coast of north america...of course that may leave out some people
however maybe there can be a second time set up for some others.
