I have a DVD of pink floyd called "Pulse". On disc 2 they play dark side of
the moon in its entirety with no pauses or breaks. It is great! Several new
musicians help out to get the sound perfect. As good or better than the
original album.
Why can't Paul Mcartney and Ringo Star make a DVD of Sgt. Pepper in the
same way? It would be killer! |

McCartney is too rich too care. Starr I don't so.
However, I don't think that McCartney thinks Sgt. Peppers is the Beatles
highlight or signature album. Remember they did the "White Album" next.
Peppers was almost a one off (McCartney has stated this publicly). Also,
Michael Jackson still has a piece.
Plus the Lennon and Harrison estates would probably demand too much money.
I believe David Gilmour has the rights to use the Pink Floyd name.
Pete Best got a nice cut for the Beatles Anthology.
